The only time you would normally need a new code is if you’ve started a new cashbook file from scratch. In that situation, you’ll need to purchase a new registration because the registration works on a per-cashbook file basis. However, a new registration is just half-price for existing users. If your computer dies or you’re planning to transfer the software to another computer, you don’t need a new code. Instead, you will need to restore your data from a backup. This will reinstate your registration. To do this, choose “Restore From Backup” from the “File” menu in the software.
